Revising an exposé · iterations and shippable threshold
How the Revise button works, what it costs, and when an exposé is broadcast-ready.
The Critic agent doesn't just score your exposé. it returns concrete next steps. Below the scorecard on any pitch detail page, you'll see a "How to ship this exposé" checklist: three to five specific fixes, each tagged with the dimension it improves and an expected lift (high / medium / low).
The Revise button
Below the checklist there's a prominent "Revise this exposé with these fixes" button, plus an optional textarea to add your own guidance ("also address the funding angle", "make the protagonist section shorter", etc.).
Clicking it spawns a new pipeline run. same topic, same broadcaster, same prior research. but the Composer receives the Critic's next-steps and your notes as explicit revision guidance. Output goes to a new pitch threaded to the original as revision 2.
What a revision costs
- Below 8.0 overall score. Revisions are free. We think an exposé under 8 isn't worth charging for a second attempt.
- 8.0 and above. Revisions count against your monthly quota, same as a fresh pitch.
Shippable threshold
At 8.5 or higher, the checklist is replaced with a green "Broadcast-ready" block and export buttons. That's the signal: the Critic thinks this one is ready. Your judgment still decides. but it's past the editorial floor.
Iteration threads stay visible on the dashboard as a "rev N" pill, so you can see the progression from rough draft to shippable.
